P 445 Klippan
This chassis has sometime during its lifetime been converted to a tractor. The frame has been shortened, no rear suspention and the speed limit has been set to 30 km/h. More often a duett was cut down and rewelded into this kind of youngster toy. During the second world war many cars were rebuilt in this way when there was a lack of ordinary tractors. A tractor could ( and can ) be driven by a 16 years old driver. When you turned 18 years old you could start driving for real. So 2 years before you got the real drivers licens you could practise in a cool, homemade look-a-like pickup. This creative lifestyle lived through the decades and is still an option for youngsters as can be seen on the duett pages.
