P 445 C Karlaverken

This chassis was owned by the state road company. The pickup had to do hard hard work and eventually, due to the bad frame, the car was to be sent to the scrapyard. Erik Svensson, who owned a car repair shop, thought the cabin was in good shape and bought the pickup. He than bought a new frame from Volvo and drove the car for several years. In the middle of the 60;s he got an offer he couldn't refuse and sold the pickup. Shortly after, the car was transformed into a tractor. As a tractor, somewhere along the way the cabin was lengthen, but it is now put back in its original size.
